o By using a calculator, divide D2 with D1. That is your calibration ratio. This ratio is important as this will help you set the wrench settings properly.
o Remember that you need to do this minimum one time every year. If you can't do it yourself, then go to a shop that maintains or calibrates industrial torque tools, and industrial torque wrenches. They will cost between $15-$50, depending on the calibration controls.
o Ensure that as with other industrial torque tools, it should be kept clean and lubricated at all times. Make sure to return the scale back to zero.
